Lawand Tourism chooses Golden Orb to build Online Reservation System
Lawand Tourism a leading inbound tourism company catering to the Middle East market with offices in Dubai, Riyadh, Sydney, and the Gold Coast has chosen Golden Orb to develop an online reservation system.
Toufic Lawand, Managing Director of Lawand Tourism said "I scourged the market for an off the shelf product and looked at systems like the Gulliver's System, conducted focus groups with and also met other travel companies and then decided that none of the current systems delivered what we were looking for". He said "this new system will break new ground and after meeting the team at Golden Orb and speaking to some of their customers I am confident that they will do an excellent job". The new online system will replace a network based system that Lawand currently uses. Mr. Lawand said that "the online system would greatly improve the efficiency of the entire team based across several different offices as also those of the several hundred agents that work with us". He said "we envisage that this system will also allow us to expand into other markets that we do not currently have a presence in".
