What is a meta framework?
What is a meta framework?

Like meta-data is "data about data", a metaframework is in simple terms "a framework of frameworks".  This implies a structure and or process for managing other structures and processes - and hence multiple frameworks integrated together into a coherent whole become a meta-framework.

From a Golden-Orb Technologies perspective, there is no point having multiple frameworks interacting or co-existing if you cant manage them/ create, modify/expel/retire individual frameworks or "component parts that make up an individual framework".  Hence an important aspect is key characteristic that the overall integrity of the large whole (metaframework) is independent of its individual parts (smaller parts) components/modules).

Hence the Golden-Orb Metaframework has been explicitly designed for component decoupling within an ongoing asset management life cycle. (The contents and function of sub-frameworks can be introduced, managed and retired with the principles of a portfolio asset management).
