This project includes the deployment of the Golden-Orb service oriented architecture platform as the base technology for Endeavour Foundation needs for the next 5-7 years. The first stage of the project also includes the development, deployment and integration of enterprise applications including client management system and lotteries systems. Subsequent stages will include development and extension of other systems into the wider organisation and value network.

About Endeavour

Endeavour is a Queensland based not-for-profit organisation devoted to providing independence to people with intellectual disability. Endeavour provides this independence through the provision of employment, education, life skills training and residential facilities. It is one of Australia's most successful and well-known human services organisations employing in excess of 3000 staff with 220 service localities in Queensland.

NEED

Endeavour needed to replace their existing closed batch operations based system with an open live data based system - or continue with expensive maintenance of their annulled legacy system. Endeavour's goal was the completely management of lifecycles of each targeted solicitation for hundreds of thousands of supporters and to generate secure automated confidential lottery draws.

SOLUTION

After Golden Orb Technologies provided an initial proposal to Endeavour. Realising the full capabilities of the Golden Orb Framework, Endeavour decided to extend the project to more areas of their business.
