The Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA) with the University of New South Wales, Centre for Health Informatics (CHI) hosted the third IT in Health Care international conference (ITHC) to be held at the Citigate Central Sydney  Australia on the 28 - 30th August 2007, three days following Medinfo2007. 

History of the ITHC international conferences

• ITHC 2001 - First
IT in Health Care: Sociotechnical Approaches. The International Conference took place in Rotterdam, September 6-7, 2001 Erasmus University, The Netherlands
• ITHC  2004- Second
IT in Health Care: Sociotechnical Approaches, Second International Conference took place on September 13-14, 2004, in Portland OR USA. Building on the successes of the first ITHC conference
• ITHC 2007- Third - Program
IT in Health Care: Sociotechnical Approaches, third international conference will take place on August 28-30, 2007, Sydney, Australia at the Carlton Crest Hotel.
ITHC 2007 Proceedings will be publiched by IOS press
